IN Jiu-Jitsu

Patience.

忍 translates to patience. one of the most essential virtues in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The path from white belt to black belt is measured in years, not months. There is no shortcut.

When combined with the character 者 (person), it reads ninja. or shinobi. literally meaning person of patience.

BJJ. The Gentle Art. It is not about force. It is about overcoming obstacles that seem bigger than you are, through discipline, perseverance, character, respect, and the will to never give up. All students improve. Just not at the same time.

“The best place to train if you want a family-friendly environment with lots of respect. Coach Joe is the best. His passion is visible in every class, every movement, and every conversation. My children love this place and would be there every single day if it were up to them. A year and a half here, and certainly many more years to come!”

“Four of my children attend BJJ classes here and it’s done a world of good for each and every one of them. I’ve watched my children grow and develop skills not just on but off the mat in terms of their character. They’ve learnt what resilience, dedication and discipline means. I am so glad my children are part of a community that wants to see them succeed.”
